A gentle and deep approach to body-centered care
Osteopathy is tailored bodywork. At Saisons, treatment is shaped not only to your problematic, but to how your body reacts, organizes, and heals. Every session is a conversation between practitioner hands and living tissue.
Osteopathy was founded on a simple insight: the body has an inherent capacity to heal and regulate itself. Our role is to find what stands in the way, and help the system resolve it.
At Saisons, this principle extends into every dimension of care. Treatment draws on the full scope of osteopathic practice — osteo-articular, fascial, visceral, and cranio-sacral approaches — woven together in response to what your body presents.
Health is not a fixed state. It moves in cycles, like seasons. Sometimes the work is about restoring movement. Sometimes it is about helping the nervous system settle. Sometimes it is simply about creating the conditions for your body to do what it already knows how to do.
The quality of listening — in hands, presence, and therapeutic relationship — is at the center of this practice. Treatment begins with palpation and attention before intervention.
Whether there were developmental stressors, exceptional disruptive events, or the quiet accumulation of life's demands, how these experiences shape your capacity for healing matters. This practice is informed by extensive training in Transforming Touch & Presence (TEB) and Somatic Resilience & Regulation (SRR) with Steve Terrell and Kathy Kain.
Nervous system regulation is not a technique — it is a foundation. Helping your system find its way back to a regulated state is often the most important thing a treatment can offer. This is especially relevant for complex presentations, chronic conditions, and neurodivergent individuals.
Osteopathic care at Saisons integrates bodywork with an understanding of emotional and personality dynamics, supported by flower therapy using Bach and Californian (FES) essences.
