What happens, the first time you come in.
A first visit at Saisons takes sixty minutes. About a third of that is conversation — what brings you in, what you have tried, what you would like to be different in three months and in a year. The rest is hands-on assessment and treatment.
Before you arrive
There is no need to undress; loose, comfortable clothing is ideal. You can bring water, a notebook, anything that helps you feel settled. Street parking is available on Oak Bay Avenue, and the clinic is accessible from the street.
The work itself
You will lie on the treatment table for most of the session. The work is gentle and slow. If anything is uncomfortable or you would like to pause, you can say so at any moment, and we will adjust.
For sensory-aware visits
The clinic is set up to be low-stimulation by default. Warm lighting, quiet room, no surprise music, scents kept minimal. If you are autistic, ADHD, anxious, or sensitive to sensory input, none of that is unusual here. If specific accommodations help — a longer first conversation, a regulating object, a support person in the room — please mention it when you book or when you arrive.
Fees & insurance
The first session is $185 (60 minutes). Follow-up sessions are $170 at 60 minutes, or available at 45 minutes. All fees include GST. I provide receipts for extended health insurance — most BC plans that list 'Osteopathy' will cover sessions; please confirm specifics with your provider.
If you would like to ask first
Some patients want to talk briefly before booking. You can write to lucas@saisonsclinic.ca and I will reply within a day or two.
